Going into high school, I had no idea what I wanted to become. I constantly changed the field I wanted to study. Growing up, I wanted to be a Veterinarian, doctor, travel registered nurse, and now business. It was until the end of 8th grade when I realized I wanted to keep studying business. I began taking an entrepreneurship class, where I learned about starting a business and creating a business plan. When it was time to start applying to high schools, I decided to apply to the School of Business and Management, where I knew I would learn a lot about the business field. I constantly had to come up with ideas to attract people to come to our events, which was a workload, but I absolutely loved it. I didn’t think that I’d eventually find something I could enjoy doing as a career, but I did. After graduating from the School of Business and Management, I decided to go to the University of North Texas at Dallas and double major in General Business and Communication & Technology to continue my education.

At first, I was scared to double major because I knew it was not going to be easy. With the support of my family and close friends, I decided to go for it. I decided to double major in Communication & Technology to gain more knowledge on social media, advertising, and marketing. Social media plays a huge part of the business field. I use social media daily but there is more to it that I do not know. This degree will help me promote my business and learn how to advertise my products. Double majoring can be pretty stressful, but I know it will all be worth it at the end and will put me closer to my goals.

As an aspiring college graduate, I plan on becoming an entrepreneur. I currently make customized shirts, shadow boxes, and decals, however, I want to expand my business by

offering other services. I love learning new things and applying it to my business. I also plan on traveling the world to learn other aspects of business and meet new people. Working with others and helping people has always been a passion of mine. With my knowledge, I would also want to teach other students what I know in the business field and possibly even offer internships. I want to teach students that nothing is impossible and that they will have a mentor to guide them throughout their education. I also want to show them how it really is in the business field, as well as, help them gain connections. I know that all of these goals won’t get done if I don’t work for them. With hard work and dedication, I will finish school to fulfill my dreams. After I graduate with my bachelor’s in General Business and Communication & Technology, I plan to go to grad school at UNT Denton to further my education.
