Keynote Speaker: Dr. Rodney B. Frazier
“And a child shall lead them…”
Dr. Rodney B. Frazier is a Dallas native with years of experience in ministry and community involvement. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. He has studied at the University of North Texas and completed a Master’s Degree in Administration. Dr. Frazier is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a Th.M degree. While at Dallas Seminary he served as a Placement Specialist for African American Ministries and Assistant Chaplain. He served in public education with the Dallas Public Schools for over 20 years both as a teacher and an administrator.
After entering into full-time ministry, Dr. Frazier served as the Associate Pastor of Worship and Fine Arts at the Concord Church where the late Dr. E.K. Bailey was the founding and Senior Pastor. Dr. Frazier was the founding Pastor of New Beginnings Community Fellowship in Cedar Hill, Texas. As a result of its stability, vision, and rapid growth, a major religious organization awarded New Beginnings “Church Plant of the Year” in 2002. He is now the Senior Pastor of Restoration Church of Cedar Hill. Dr. Frazier earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from The King’s University (Los Angeles, CA) in June, 2013. He currently serves as Adjunct Professor of Education at Dallas County Community Colleges and also at Southern Bible College. Dr. Frazier serves as Chaplain for the Cedar Hill Police Department. He is married to Anitra Felicia Frazier has three Adult children and one dog name Lexi.
Youth Keynote Speaker: Miss MaKayla Glenn
MaKayla Glenn was born and raised in Arlington, TX. In 2019, she graduated from Cedar Hill Collegiate High School with both a high school diploma and an Associate of Arts Degree. MaKayla is a 2021 ESUME recipient.
With an interest in the power of storytelling, MaKayla attends Texas Tech University, where she will earn a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism May 2022. She is a three-time Honor List recipient. MaKayla plans to positively impact the world of journalism by telling and producing stories in an engaging and informative way, while infusing a huge dose of compassion.
MaKayla is currently an Intern with KCBD News, Lubbock, TX, and a News Anchor with MCTV, Texas Tech’s student led news station. She completed a summer 2021 Marketing and Communications internship for the city of Mansfield. MaKayla also worked with RaiderVision to make Texas Tech home games a full televised production.
In addition to demonstrating academic commitment, with over 550 volunteer hours, MaKayla has also demonstrated a commitment to community service. MaKayla is very thankful to have the support of a loving family and church family. Makayla is also thankful for enriching classroom studies, hands-on experiences, and opportunities with organizations such as ESUME. Great preparation for a career as a multimedia journalist!
